S3A results storage and location records

Keep routine settlement-test results organised at the instrument, with location, date and time available for comparison.

Keep completed results organised.

The S3A stores up to 28 completed results for each of three locations, with date and time. Keep location and sample preparation consistent when comparing results over time.

Three locations

Use the instrument’s three location profiles to keep results from different sampling points organised.

28 results per location

Store up to 28 completed results for each location. Record relevant process observations alongside the instrument readings.

Date and time

Review the date and time with each completed result so comparisons retain their sampling context.

Compare results with the process in mind.

Consistent sampling, preparation and site-specific calibration help make routine comparisons useful.

Sample consistently

Collect representative mixed liquor from the same safe sampling point for comparable routine checks.

Calibrate for your sludge

Use a known site-specific MLSS sample of 2,000–4,000 mg/L. Repeat calibration after large changes in sludge characteristics.

Keep the wider context

Consider stored results alongside operating procedures, process observations and the conditions at the time of sampling.

Optional MODBUS RTU access.

Optional MODBUS RTU uses a two-wire RS-485 connection. Specify it when ordering; dashboards and network integration are provided by the client.

Read functions 03/04 provide access to supported readings. Write function 06 is limited to Holding Register 40001 for the slave ID (1–247); it does not write measurement values or control tests.
